In fact, the answer of why the people search blogs over net is very straightforward. Curios people always want to come across with some fresh content with solid conceptual base. If you have your concepts then you might let the others know about it. But be aware, there will be some conflicts over your concepts later. And you should be ready to answer each query regarding your concepts.

Searching the things over net, finding valuable content, rewriting it and finally posting it on your blog is not real blogging. It’s just a cheap way to monetize the ideas which actually are not your own. Blogging is what that might be fresh and unique. But today, blogging has been converted a lot. You can see the people who never touched the stuff for what they are blogging.

Inspiration and copying are quite different things. You may be inspired by any particular thing but before sharing something about it you might try that thing at least once so that you can develop your own point of view and represent the same thing with your own way.
