Yes this is very true that the greatness of the most important man is to be celebrated as Father’s Day. This man is the one who created us and has been around us whenever we needed him. He is our father and his contribution in bringing us up is no less. He is the one who plays the role of a strict disciplinarian to help us understand the importance of self discipline. In most of the cases this style of nurturing kids gets overshadowed by the presence of a soft hearted mother. However once we grow up and step into his shoes, to be precise around the time we become parents, we understand the art parenting is not that easy.
According to the legend, it was some 4000 years ago that a boy from Babylonia had sent a card of clay to his father thanking him for support. It was in the last century that under social and political pressure the United States declared that the third Sunday of June would be regarded as Father’s Day. Besides all this, today even countries like India have joined in the brigade of thanking fathers on one single day.
So come let us celebrate this 19th of June 2011 as a special day dedicated to this man. For the lucky ones who still have their “old man” along with them, make them feel that it is both the commitment and the man that we have our gratitude for. As for the few unfortunate ones, who miss their fathers on this day can definitely express the same for someone they look up to as a father figure. You got to think about this living human being also who means a lot to you. We end by wishing all fathers “A VERY HAPPY AND SPECIAL FATHER’S DAY” from our side.
