How can you distinguish infatuation from love?

Yes how can you distinguish infatuation from love? This is very commonly asked question that bothers teenagers and adults alike. The fact that both infatuation and love are abstract ideas of the human mind makes it even complicated. In simple words it can be explained like this that these two are abstract feelings which cannot be evaluated. Emotions vary from person to person like thought processes. That is why it cannot be calculated on the basis of two and two make four. You need to be observant and have patience in order to find that difference between infatuation and love.

You must have noticed it that infatuation deals with superficial likings of a person. It could be that you like a guy or a girl because of his/ her looks and nothing more than that. Hence this gives birth to insecurity, possessiveness and trying to cling to your partner like an octopus. In the long run you are portrayed as someone you are not. This is because people think you are apprehensive and sick. Ultimately you will be told that you need some kind of help for acting like a maniac!

Love on the other hand is completely different from all this. It is a special feeling that makes you caring. You always tend to be thinking about the well being of your beloved. Love teaches you to let them go and never suffocate them. In other words you do not have to pretend to be someone else when you are truly in love. Remember one thing that I have understood over the years, that physicality is a part of love. Love is just like a huge ocean of intangible thoughts and getting intimate with someone is all about loving a person which can never be a necessity.

To some extent infatuation is driven by sexual urges but love can never be dependent on it to keep a relation alive. It is similar to your free will that rests in you and only you. You have the liberty to like or love a person. Unlike infatuation which is at times the resultant of peer pressure. In fact the process by which you can distinguish infatuation from love is called maturity.

Developing trust in a relationship

Developing trust in a relationship could be very tricky. This is because there are no rules that can actually help you build that trust between you and your loved ones. This could be about anyone like it could be the trust between parents and children, husband and wife or even between siblings.

Trust is an important aspect about any relationship and it is really difficult or jot down ways of building it. However with minute observations we have been able to gather a few tips that can help anyone willing to win someone’s trust. Ideally it should start with keeping words. That is correct you should be able to live up to the set of expectations that you have set. This could be as simple as a child doing his or her homework regularly. All our parents want from us is that we remain focused in our lives. When a child concentrates in his or her education, parents begin to trust the child thinking he or she can do well in life as they know what is expected out of them at that tender age.

In this relation it has to be mentioned that you need to communicate with your partner in a relationship. Communication could be through words or body language, but make sure that it is always positive. This is an important part of a relationship as it can save or ruin a relation. You need to be assured that you really love the person and that is why winning their trust is quite significant for you.

Another factor is to forget your past experiences and move on in life. This can be best explained in the light of an example that revolves around two lovers. Now since your ex has hurt you, you will be suspicious of the behavior of another person and that my friend is not fair at all. In other words you need to give up all your insecurities and restart with a fresh mind. Remember your positivity can weave an air of optimism that can help you develop a healthy relation in future.

How to cope with a series of heartbreaks?

Many a people question me about how to cope with a series of heartbreaks? What I tell them is something very similar to what I am going to discuss here. To start with I must say that if you have had multiple heartbreaks in your love relations, then you need to first analyze your ways. Point fingers at others may be easy, but people forget that you are also to be blamed for your broken relationships.

Have you ever thought of evaluating your own ways? Probably it is you and no one else at fault? Did you ever realize that? The answer is obviously in the negative. So for this you need to detoxify yourself. That would be to give oneself the time required to heal after failed a relationship. Don’t jump into another relationship just to show your ex that you are still wanted and desired by many. This leads you nowhere and adds to your despair.

Another thing that should be taken into consideration is that you should be able to bring changes in yourself. Go for a makeover, get a new haircut and get a new wardrobe. Show the world that you are making amends to your life. You need to get the feel of the difference in yourself over anyone else.

However do not depend too much on external modifications as an internal transformation is something that you need the most. Start observing people, do not trust them easily and above all be committed. Thinking of finding a new love is something that you need to take out of your mind. To elucidate this it has to be mentioned that you need to be focused and positive about a relationship as only then you can see it working.

Besides it needs to be added here that a series of heartbreaks make you strong. You get to identify behavioral patterns of people who can hurt. This will give you a better understanding of characters and it traits. This means it makes you matured and you need to take it as a part of your learning process. Think out of the box and be happy.

Dullness in Relationship: Don’t let it to touch extremes

How to avoid dullness while you are in a relationship? This is a question that every couple sometime or the other has asked themselves. In this context there raises another question that how can you get bored in a relationship? Aren’t the two of you in love? If the answer is positive then how can you be bored of each other?

Nevertheless it is quite obvious that you will face monotony in a long term relationship for sure at a time. This happens mainly because people get too busy with their professional life and start ignoring the special one they have. In most of the cases another factor that causes a lull in a relationship is because people start taking their partners for granted. This has been a persistent problem among couples for ages that are in a live-in relation, married or even two long time lovers.

In order to avoid this, the very first thing that you need to do is to talk to each other. I personally believe that proper communication can solve the biggest problems of the world. In the same way this could also be resolved in a constructive way beyond any doubts. In fact a healthy conversation can actually help you to rediscover yours beloved. That is correct as you can understand the changes that come with time in them slowly and steadily. This may help you figure out a common passion or a like that you can bank on for spending some quality with each other. It could as simple as a workout session together but it will give you the opportunity to be together.

Another solution to this lies in getting intimate and reviving your sexual life. You can read good books and learn new moves that you can apply in your bedroom. This will surprise your partner and you two can enjoy this as you observe this phase to ease out in no time. In addition to this the truth that needs to be analyzed about your current relationship is what is that making you think about your ex? If there is something wrong with this one then it must be something with you or take on a relationship. Probably you are making too many comparisons of your present beloved with your ex or trying to fake this relationship so that you can prove it yourself as well the world that nothing is wrong with you.

On the other hand if you think you are fine then find out what is “the thing” that is missing from this relation. This is a serious issue and do not be impulsive. Just because your ex is doing what he or she never did it in the past does not make them great. It may be a way of getting back to you as well. You never know what runs in the human mind. So be careful and make your life worth by not being overtly friendly with your ex when you are in another relationship.
